Rebecca Conners, LCPC, BC-DMT, believes that the start to any great personal work is creating a strong therapeutic rapport and using that relationship to foster awareness, creativity, and resilience. In addition to more traditional and verbal psychotherapy practices, Rebecca is also trained as a creative arts therapist specializing in dance/movement therapy. While she finds that the arts can deepen the work and empower individuals to gain new awareness and improve their quality of life, she integrates the arts only to the extent to which clients are comfortable.
She helps adults and teenagers work through various challenges including trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, life transitions, family conflict, grief, and more. She also works with parents raising kids with special needs and people struggling with issues related to acculturation.
In her spare time, Rebecca enjoys journaling in coffee shops, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
